Teal holo dry brush with fancy chevron tip

It's monochromatic nails time for this weeks nails in the weekly nail art challenge (WNAC) I co-host on Instagram along with lovely ladies Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of MissBellaTracey. I went with teal holo cause I love teal holo and cause I have so many of them.... COLLECT ALL THE TEAL HOLOS.

I used a basic dry-brush technique then slapped on some fancy chevron tips using vinyls I got from Up Your Nail. You may have also noticed that I haven't been posting as much nail art lately... read on to hear me blab about why!

VIDEO TUTORIAL RIGHT HERE RIGHT NOW !

1 MIN OR LESS VIDEO TUTORIAL:

Pretty straight forward, amirite?!

The polished used are listed at the bottom of the post.

Now for why I've only had time to do nail art about once a week... you may or may not have seen some of my nail porn work on Instagram (exhibit A, exhibit B, exhibit C, exhibit D, and so on). As it turns out I might actually have a future in this porno industry... brands just keep coming back for more slutty drippy polish goodness. Video editing has also been a passion of mine despite never being able to pursue it through schooling (I went to uni for criminology/sociology instead... blah), so coming back to what I've always been drawn to doing is awesome. And the fact that people actually want more? Even more awesome. I am being compensated for these videos as they are company branded and I film and edit the video according to what the client wants. So evidently it's a bonus that I can get compensated for doing what I love - so with that said, something has to give and unfortunately that's some nail art. Not to worry, I am definitely NOT STOPPING nail art and it will always be the primary premise of this blog. It will just be posted a bit less frequently. I continue to post nail art at least once a week for the weekly nail art challenge I co-host on Instagram, so that will always be a commitment to nail art. As for the rest of the week, I will occasionally throw another nail art in there where I can, and of course there's still some swatches with a nail art twist to come. I also am planning on making more engaging videos for my YouTube channel, including a comprehensive review of latex barrier peel-off products meant for mess-free post-nail art clean up (stay tuned, it's coming!) and some other fun videos which I'll keep hush hush about for now ;)

I'm holding Il était un vernis 'In teal we trust', a deep vibrant teal holo I used on the tips - love! You can get yours from Il était un vernis directly (based out of France) or from an American stockist such as Live Love Polish.

Definitely the most holo of them all the Colors by Llarowe 'Thiller', which I got from Harlow & Co. - and I just checked right now and it's actually on sale!! Whereat HOLOS ON SALE?!>?
