Watercolour mermaid nails!

This round of July's weekly nail art challenge (WNAC) manis I co-host the WNAC on Instagram along with lovely ladies Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of MissBellaTracey is animal print! Personally I am disgusted at most things animal print on my nails (particularly leopard print, see here), but mermaid I can do. Especially this fancy watercolour kind, topped with iridescent shimmahhhhh!!!

I got this watercolour-over-nail-vinyls idea from @lifeisnails on Instagram - she has a YouTube channel but hadn't made a video on this idea yet :( There are so many possibilities with this technique - I went with the standard blended watercolour look to get a feel for it, but I feel different ways of using this technique coming on!!
