This round of June's weekly nail art challenge (WNAC) manis I co-host the WNAC on Instagram along with lovely ladies Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of MissBellaTracey is turquoise pattern week, but I made it HOLO cause I got my previous new holo topcoat baby in the mail (FUN Lacquer 'Diamond') and I couldn't hold myself back.
I used diamond nail vinyls from my fav nail vinyl shop Twinkled T to create this pattern - use my code SIMPLY for 10% off! And what a wicked cool look!

Remember when using a holo topcoat like FUN Lacquer's 'Diamond', you need to be careful not to overlap brush strokes or else the polish will end up getting slightly opaque and more or less clouding the design with holo. The goal in my case here was not to overpower it with holo pigment, but just to give it a one coat of holo dusting to make those rainbows come out to play in direct light!

No-holo vs. holo! I just love FUN Lacquer holo topcoat because it doesn't cloud/wash out the design. You def want to be able to preserve the design of your nail art when using a holo top coat, of course!
