Instagram update 2.HOLO

I did my original Instagram nails just a month ago and NOW Instagram decides to change their logo after... how many goddamn years of existence on the internets??? Annoying. 

The logo is strange to me because it no longer looks like a camera (dishwasher? earring? keychain? condom package?) but I am happy it's a rainbow gradient. That's one step closer to holo in my books. Of course I added a holo top coat to perfect it.

I was inspired by Janelle of Elleandish to create these rainbow smoke nails! We worked together to bring you guys a "mani-swap", which is a popular concept on Instagram (#maniswap) where two nail artists get inspired by the other to create a nail art, and then BAM, you get 4 awesome manis! Rainbow foil plus holo because a rainbow is not a real rainbow without it. What's the best black polish?

Some may tell you some obscure indie brand, but that's always so hard to find (and I would otherwise tell you the same - Cult Nails 'Nevermore' has always been my fav black polish but they went out of business, so, boo). Therefore I did a hunt for the best black polish that is actually readily available at drug or beauty stores in most countries!

Sharpie watercolour nail art with vinyl patterns

Look, my nail art is now permanent!

Lol no, that's stupid. But I did use Sharpie permanent markers to create this look. Not that there's anything elegant about these but... I don't care.

The Sharpie nails thing isn't new, but I'm pretty sure no one's tried it with nail vinyls AND holo yet, so, therefore, I am a pioneer.

It's that time of the year again when you wish it wasn't that time of year again. Back to school season! Not for me though... muahahah. I was done with school about 2 years ago after finishing my Master's degree. BYE SCHOOL BYE

But nevertheless, it's still a time of year that everyone experiences because THOSE GODDAMN BACK TO SCHOOL FLYERS ARE EVERYWHERE.
