Mmmm how deliciously sparkly are these?! Bahhh I love them and I can't take this amazing sparkle any longer *throws fists wildly in air*
Clockwise from top left: Holo Haze, Plastered in Pink, Loopy on Lime Gold, Frisky in Fuchsia
How 'bout some bottle shots!
Did I mention I like building nail polish pyramids? All the Painted Polish holo glitters come out to play! Sparkly backgrounds courtesy of Michael's craft store.
WhAT is going on here? I don't even know, just sparkly overload goodness.
Okay back on topic I guess... swatch conditions!
- All shots were photographed indoors under 2x 5200k compact fluorescent bulbs, never with camera flash.
- I used OPI's peel off base coat for easy removal after each swatch, and kept my cuticles nice and supple with my favourite cuticle and nail oil.
- I applied one sponged on coat followed by one regular coat of polish for each swatch nail, also known as the maximize glitter payoff with a sponge method.
- I used Gosh 'Silver' polish as the base of my accent nail and shattered glass stuck on love nail shields from Love Angeline to create the irregular design.
- One top coat of HK Girl glossy top coat by Glisten & Glow on all nails.
First up, Plastered in Pink, a sparkly baby pink deluxe glitter wonder suspended in a clear jelly base! This is for all the prima madonna's out there who like to stay classy for the day time (this glitter polish would be their definition of classy, that's my point). Either way it's the perfect light dusting of colour with maximum sparkliness!

Next up, it's time to get Loopy on Lime Gold and I advise you not to operate a motor vehicle while ingesting this substance because you will get into an accident. It's a unique gold-yellow-green holo glitter in a clear base, perfect for those who can't make up their minds on what colour to wear!
Holo Haze pairs perfectly with Loopy on Lime Gold and it's just one of those unique blurples (blue-purple) that is nearly impossible to photograph. It's really more vibrant and almost neon-like than is seen in these photographs. This is also one sponged on coat followed by a regular coat in order to see the depth the blurple jelly creates!
Finally, my fav of the bunch and I'm not even crazy about pink to begin with! This is Frisky in Fuchsia and seriously what the FACK I mean WOW this pink is so sparkly and intense it's like Barbie vomited everywhere. This is a super rich fuchsia jelly dripping in pink or silver holo glitters, I can't even tell what colour they are my eyes are so crossed and rolled to the back of my head.
Close up of the two accent nails I made super easily using Gosh 'Silver' polish as a base and shattered glass stuck on love nail shields from Love Angeline to create the broken glass look. Check out the 15 second video tutorial on Instagram!
Here's a throwback to good 'ol Drunk on Holo from Painted Polish where I first got the idea to use a makeup sponge to maximize glitter polish payoff without the lumpiness of applying coat after coat with the polish brush!
The holo glitters featured above are available exclusively from Painted Polish's online shop. They tend to sell out fast, but they are restocked frequently! Make sure you are following Painted Polish on Facebook or on Instagram for re-stock info so you don't miss out - they go fast!!
