Catstache real cat hair nails for Movember

Hottest new nail trend alert!!! Furry nails moustache nails!

All you gotta do to achieve this new classic look is find an unsuspecting cat, extract some of his/her fur with the Furminator, and follow some quick easy steps as explained in my video below to get that cat hair on your nails.

Why am I doing this? Well, for this week's edition of the weekly nail art challenge (WNAC) I co-host on Instagram along with Kristin of Lacquerstyle and Tracey of MissBellaTracey, the theme is Elegant and the prompt is Movember! There's nothing elegant about these catstache nails but, I don't care.

Which to me = where the fack I want. The people of the Internet (you) have been asking for cat nails, and while I'm no realistic portrait painter, the best I can do on a whim is cat nail vinyls. Can you believe I've had these for months and never used them?!

Glowing Halloween cat nails

Apparently today is National Cat Day, and Halloween is in a couple days, so here's some Halloween cat nails 'cause I totally just whipped these up today. Today's mani is 1.5 months in the making... not because I actually spent 1,056 hours doing it, but because I leave far too manis hanging out in my 'to edit' folder and hence I am the worst person ever to do a #bestietwinnails with. Tracey of @missbellatracey on Instagram puts up with my slow-pokeness as she is a true Saint and so here we finally are today with our meticulously planned out drunk kitty construction manis!

Cat love for Cassie nail art collab

Two weeks ago Cassie of @cassgooner on Instagram lost her dear kitty, Milly. Nine of us cat-loving nail artists decided to get together in attempt to put a smile back on Cassie's face in light of the news. As a mother of two furry children, I can imagine (though I don't want to) how heartwrenching it will be when my babies move on. To me it's the same thing as losing a family member, since after all, kitties are children to some of us. In the spirit of remembering Cassie's beloved Milly and in recognizing the space our cats hold in our hearts, eight talented nail artists on Instagram and myself collaborated on a 'cat love for Cassie' nail art collab.
