Lazy Sunday: Pure Ice glitter gradient

This simple two-polish mani was done about six weeks ago and like many of my other recent posts it seems, it got burried somewhere in my Mac hiding from publication. The inspiration for this mani? The polish line itself: "Pure Ice". I saw these two colours at Walmart and thought they would work beautifully for a simple icy glitter gradient. Doesn't hurt that Pure Ice is only $1.97 each at Walmart... and that's regular retail price!!!

VIDEO TUTORIAL AT THE END OF THE POST!

Oooh, sparklies. This glitter is actually pretty intense, I see micro circle glitter, bar glitters, and hex glitters!

1 MIN OR LESS VIDEO TUTORIAL:

I use a makeup sponge to apply the second round of glitter on the tip because the sponge absorbs some of the excess jelly, allowing for more glitters to stay behind and tack onto the nail. I first demonstrated this in this video tutorial on how to maximize glitter polish payoff.

Bonus macro bottle shot:

Polishes used:
- Pure Ice 'Get in line' (sheer turquoise)
- Pure Ice 'Over you' (purple and turquoise glitters in clear jelly)
