Good morning! Well, for me anyway, it's nearing 10am and I can actually see sun out my window. Today I have for you a heavy metal look, inspired by a belt and testing out more uses for OPI's new chrome polish from the Gwen Stefani collection.
This mani wasn't really planned out, I just starting painting swervy lines and added some chrome dots over a chrome base. In retrospect there's a few things I would have done differently, like thicker black lines and smaller chrome dots. I was also testing out some craft store brushes I'd trimmed down. I am still not satisfied with them as they started fraying really quickly after a couple uses.
There is no top coat on this mani as OPI's 'Push and shove' chrome polish calls for no top coat in order to preserve the chrome-like reflection properties of the polish.
- OPI 'Push and shove' (chrome)
- Black and White acrylic paints (mixed to create light grey)
